Why Do I Need to Train to Relax?
Do you eat in response to stress?? Do you head into the kitchen when you're bored or anxious?? The calories you consume when you're not really hungry are the calories that cause weight gain and failed diets.
If you teach yourself to stretch and relax, you can replace food-centered activities with healthier body-centered activities.? You'll eat less and you'll improve the way your body feels and functions throughout the day.
How to Stretch
Take 15 minutes this weekend to find a quiet space where you have room to spread your arms and legs. Then try one of these workouts.
If you have the time, you can also take a yoga class.? Just be sure that you are clear, however, about what yoga can and cannot do for your weight loss program.
